    ABOUT THE EVENT

    ABOUT

Today, cross-border commercial bank transactions not only require a friction-free flow of currencies and payments between developed countries but also between emerging markets. Provisioning liquidity in different currencies is fraught with risks, so how can the market anchor cross-border commercial bank transactions?

The answer may lie in addressing the very root of the problem, or the back end of the payments infrastructure. Payment vs Payment (PvP) settlements and real-time cross-border payments must also rely on the interoperability between different ecosystems, despite a reality where standardization is all too often siloed.

The rise of new asset classes brings a new dimension to this complexity, whereby infrastructure is increasingly expected to be agnostic to the asset class. So how can financial institutions march in step with G20 targets to de-risk these transactions? Will ISO 20022 help to unify new approaches to payment innovation?

Hosted by The Banker in partnership with RTGS.global, join our distinguished panel of payment leaders in this live-streamed webinar from Sibos.
